Thirty-eight and still identical. . .

Can you tell who is who? The "identical" is in question, though it may be difficult to believe. Tests taken after birth say we are fraternal. My mom says they were having a big Christmas party in labor and delivery that night so she wouldn't trust any test comin' outta there. Secondly, Marian had all four wisdom teeth, I only had two. This just further supports the previous test taken after birth. Marian chooses to ignore the tests and says, "Look at us! We are identical!" Are there any experts out there who know for sure? Are we or aren't we identical?

Weird!

Looking at that pic, I would say pretty darn identical.

I've also almost sent and Ayers kids to Momma Coleman or a Coleman kids to Momma Ayers. :-) So, I might not be the best judge.

After 'researching' it, y'all may be Semi-Identical twins. That is where an ovum splits but is fertilised by different sperm. The result is identical genetic information from the mother but different from the father. You can read about it here: (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Identical_twins#Identical_twins).

I can't believe my husband sent you to Wikipedia...that is so abnormal for him to research things :). That's why I love him! Hannah on the right and Marian on the left. You just can't get away from the mole Marian :). Does that make you less identical since Hannah doesn't have a mole? hmmmm.....

I think you look identical though I can tell you apart most of the time. Though sometimes I have to do a double take. If you must know you can do a mail in test:

Twins are super cool =-)!

Hannah Ayers! You don't know how happy I am to find these wonderful pictures. I still have the last Christmas card you sent and look it often and wonder how you guys are doing. You look wonderful, and the kids are beautiful. I'm so happy for you. Do you ever still come to Bluefield? Let me hear from you!
